Hi, my name is Katie and I am the face behind Florence Revival, a DIY and Lifestyle Brand. Together with Teddy, our German Shepherd “supervisor”, we are tackling renovations on our first home - a 1929 Tudor Revival in the heart of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

SPRING! Does it feel like it?! (AquorPartner) Nope! But it’s here! I’m back in full force, working to get my backyard in tiptop shape! Thanks to @aquorwatersystems , I can easily make sure my new plants are watered properly! I love Aquor’s House Hydrant because it’s sleek and beautiful and you never have to worry about it freezing in the winter!

Were you here when I first started the backyard?! We have come a LONG way! And this project was all DIY except for the painted exterior. But it’s not quite done! Now that winter is almost over, it’s time to finally plant things! Tell me your favorite plants below and what makes them so special!

This hallway. I’ve stripped the old wallpaper and now I’m too the point that I need to skim coat the plaster. I’m tired, but also I can’t help but appreciate the beauty in the process.

I read this article that said that Instagram was trying to restore the balance between photos and videos. Does this mean they are finally listening to its users?! Do you feel like life seemed less chaotic when we mostly saw static posts?
