Our primary bedroom has undergone a lot of changes. Most recently, we removed Jared’s tiny closet and donated that square footage to our primary bathroom, and instead added IKEA wardrobes that we’ll build in to look custom. It was a win for everyone – Jared now has more closet space than he did before, and the bathroom got an adorable little toilet nook.
There are definitely more projects to do here. But for now, this is our room, and here are all of the sources!

Our primary bedroom is painted Greek Villa by Sherwin Williams. The paint was color matched by Behr (flat).
We’ve had this bed frame for years, and highly recommend it. It’s got such great lines, and we’ve never had issues with it. Most importantly, it’s got Teddy’s stamp of approval. We use a foam mattress “bed in a box” similar to this one.
We use Boll & Branch for our bedding. It’s really worth it for us to invest in high-quality sheets because we want to get the best sleep possible in order to have good energy for our busy days! We use these sheets, this duvet insert, this duvet cover, and this cozy knit blanket. These pillows are our go-to. No complaints at all.
I love neutral throw pillows for a couple of reasons. Firstly, they just accentuate the vibe of the room without trying to be the star. Secondly, they’re so easy to exchange between rooms whenever the whim strikes – they match everything. And possibly most importantly, I never have to worry about decorating my house for any season or holiday, because the right pillow works with every mood. That’s right – I’m the one blogger that doesn’t decorate.
This ceiling fan may be one of my favorite finds. It’s from Hunter, so you know it’s going to last forever, and it also becomes a bit of an accent in all the right ways. It doesn’t look like a modern space shuttle, or feel like the 70’s with a boob light.
In this photo, this rug is on the floor. Don’t tell anyone, but this is actually an old photo. I currently have this large area rug and love it. We also have these nightstands that go really well with our light oak flooring.
This mirror is in the corner with a plant – the perfect spot for primping before 5 am hospital shifts (I don’t.) These picture frames are all over my house because I’m obsessed with them.
For privacy, we used white curtains that I pleated, black clip rings, black curtain rods, and light-filtering roller shades.
I’m sure that I’ll be doing projects in here soon enough, but for now, it’s time for a nap.
